Advisor, Systems Engineering (DevOps Engineer)

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Fiserv, you play a crucial role in enhancing software delivery processes, improving system reliability, and fostering a collaborative DevOps culture. Your responsibilities include: - Defining and implementing DevOps practices like Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. - Architecting and optimizing cloud applications for scalability, including Pipeline, Network, caching, compute optimizations, and robust load balancing setups. - Understanding project requirements and KPIs, and implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure. - Hands-on experience in Rest API, APIGEE APIM, Microservices, Azure Cloud, Google Cloud, GKE, Gitlab/GitHub, Harness/Argo CD Pipeline. - Setting up tools and required infrastructure, defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes. - Reviewing, verifying, and validating software code, building automated processes, deploying cybersecurity measures, selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools. - Striving for continuous improvement, building CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring customer experience and KPIs. Qualifications required: - 5+ years of experience in DevOps on distributed on-prem and cloud environment. - Cloud Experience including automation using IoC, and Apigee or Any gateway experience. - 5+ years of IT development, consulting, or service implementation experience. - 5+ years of experience on Linux based infrastructure, systems architecture, cloud services, and microservices architectures. - Hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform services, scripting languages like Python/Groovy/Perl, automation tools like Jenkins and Gitlab, infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, and configuration management tools like Ansible. - Experience with continuous integration and delivery using public cloud services such as Azure, GCP, container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker, automation testing tools like postman, LoadRunner/Selenium, Ready API, and managing databases such as Mongo.
