Role Overview: As a Perl / SQL Developer with over 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Perl-based applications to ensure compatibility with MS SQL Server. Additionally, you will work with T-SQL / SQL Server to rewrite or adapt application code from Sybase to MS SQL. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth project execution and delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and optimize Perl-based applications for compatibility with MS SQL Server. - Leverage Python for code migration and sustainable solutions where applicable. - Work with T-SQL / SQL Server to rewrite or adapt application code from Sybase to MS SQL. - Participate in release management and version control using ADO/Git. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery. - Contribute to setting up monitoring, alerting, and automation tools. - Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Qualification Required: - Strong expertise in Perl development. - T-SQL / SQL Server experience. - Python knowledge for migration/sustainability efforts. - Familiarity with ADO, Git, and release management practices. - Exposure to monitoring, alerting, and automation tools. - Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.,
