Job Description

As an Admission Officer at our institution in Alappuzha, Kerala, you will play a crucial role in guiding prospective students and their families through the enrolment process. Your proactive communication skills and organizational abilities will be key in representing our institution with professionalism and care. Your responsibilities will include managing student inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, providing clear information on academic programs and application processes. You will review and process applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy while tracking essential documentation like transcripts and test results. Guiding applicants and families throughout the admission process will be a significant part of your role. You will offer personalized assistance, address questions, and ensure a smooth experience for all involved. Additionally, organizing admission-focused events, participating in campus tours, open houses, and info sessions, as well as representing the institution at educational fairs, will be part of your duties. Maintaining up-to-date records on prospective students, managing application statuses using CRM tools, and generating reports for evaluation will require your attention to detail. Compliance with institutional policies and regulations, staying informed about educational policy changes, and collaborating with the marketing team and academic departments are crucial aspects of the role. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Education, Communication, or a related field, with prior experience in admissions, student counselling, or customer service being advantageous. Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office, problem-solving aptitude, and the capability to manage multiple tasks under pressure are essential for success in this role.
