Job Description

This position involves building relationships with prospective students and their families, providing guidance throughout the admission process, and representing the school at various events. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to supporting students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospective Student Engagement:
  • Actively recruit prospective students through outreach initiatives, school visits, and community events.
  • Conduct presentations and information sessions to promote the school’s programs and values.
  • Admissions Counseling:
  • Provide personalized guidance to prospective students and families regarding the application process, requirements, and available programs.
  • Assist students in completing application forms, preparing for interviews, and submitting necessary documents.
  • Relationship Building:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the school’s mission.
  • Follow up with prospective students through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Application Review:
  • Evaluate applications and make recommendations for admission based on established criteria.
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure a fair and efficient review process.
  • Event Coordination:
  • Organize and participate in open houses, campus tours, and admission fairs.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of recruitment events and school functions.
  • Data Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of prospective students and manage the admissions database.
  • Analyze enrollment trends and contribute to reports for the admissions office.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with faculty, administration, and other departments to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for prospective students.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of strategic enrollment goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in admissions, student services, or a related area preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with admissions software or CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
