MIT ADT University is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Admission Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through the admission process from initial inquiry to final enrollment. This role is crucial for achieving the university's admission targets by effectively communicating the value proposition of MIT ADT University and converting leads into confirmed admissions.

About the Role

The Admission Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process and achieving the university's admission targets.

Responsibilities

1) Lead Management & Conversion:

• Effectively managing and nurturing a pipeline of prospective student leads generated through various channels (online inquiries, calls, walk-ins, educational fairs, etc.).
• Conducting professional and informative counseling sessions (in-person, telephonic, and virtual) to provide detailed information about the university's programs, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and career prospects.
• Proactively following up with leads to address queries, resolve concerns, and motivate them towards admission, focusing on meeting and exceeding admission targets.

2) Communication & Engagement:

• Maintaining a high level of command over spoken and written English for clear and persuasive communication with students and parents.
• Organizing and conducting webinars, information sessions, and campus tours for prospective students.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all student interactions and follow-ups in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

3) Market Intelligence:

• Gathering feedback from leads and providing valuable insights to the marketing and admissions team to improve outreach strategies.
• Staying updated on competitor activities and current trends in the higher education sector.

4) Administrative Support:

• Assisting applicants with the completion of admission forms and necessary documentation.
• Coordinating with other university departments (e.g., academic, finance) to ensure a smooth transition for admitted students.

Qualification

• Education:

  Bachelor's Degree (Graduate) in any discipline.

• Experience:

  Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an Admission Counselor, Sales, or similar profile, preferably within the Education Industry.

• Language:

  Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal) is mandatory. Proficiency in Marathi or Hindi is a plus.

Required Skills

• Proven track record of converting leads into admissions / sales.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and counseling skills.
• Familiarity with CRM software is desirable.

Preferred Skills

• Highly professional, target-oriented, empathetic, and possessing a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Willingness to work on weekends during peak admission cycles.
