Job Description

An Admission Counselor guides prospective students through the admissions process, providing information on programs, requirements, and campus life, while also evaluating applications and participating in recruitment events. Key responsibilities include conducting informational sessions and campus tours, acting as a liaison with high schools, maintaining accurate records, and working to meet enrollment targets through effective communication and support. Key Responsibilities

  • Student Guidance: Provide comprehensive information and support to prospective students and their families regarding academic programs, admission requirements, financial aid, and extracurricular activities.
  • Application Process: Assist students with completing applications and support documentation, and process and evaluate admissions applications to determine eligibility.
  • Recruitment and Outreach: Participate in and organize recruitment events, such as college fairs, high school visits, and campus tours, to attract prospective students.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with applicants via phone, email, and social media to answer questions and provide updates.
  • Record Keeping: Manage and update applicant information and interaction records within a database or CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work with other admissions staff and departments to ensure a smooth and cohesive enrollment process.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and other stakeholders.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain records, and handle deadlines efficiently.
  • Knowledge of Admissions: Thorough understanding of institutional programs, admission policies, procedures, and current trends in education.
  • Resourcefulness: Ability to find and provide accurate information and connect students with necessary resources.
  • Tech Proficiency: Competence in using admissions software, CRM systems, and general office applications like Microsoft Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,831.26 - ₹31,180.93 per month
