Industry leaders will mentor and teach students, equipping them with new-age, in-demand skills in technology, business, marketing and AI. Role Overview: As an Admission Counsellor for the MU Undergraduate Program , you will be the first point of contact for prospective students and their parents, guiding them through the application and admissions process. This role requires a blend of excellent communication skills, relationship management, and a deep understanding of the program offerings to ensure a seamless admissions experience. You will be responsible for engaging, advising, and assisting prospective students , helping them understand the value of the MU Undergraduate Program and making an informed decision about their higher education. Key Responsibilities: Student & Parent Engagement Guide prospective students and parents through the entire admissions process , from inquiry to enrollment. Educate students and parents about the program structure, curriculum, career outcomes, and industry exposure offered at MU. Proactively follow up with interested candidates via phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other communication channels. Application Process Management Assist students in completing their applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Conduct pre-assessment screenings to evaluate the fitment of applicants and provide necessary guidance. Coordinate with the admissions team to streamline the selection and interview process . Event & Outreach Management Organize and host campus tours, open houses, webinars, and virtual information sessions to showcase MU’s academic offerings and student life. Represent MU at career fairs, school events, and industry networking sessions to attract potential students. Social Media & Community Engagement Monitor and respond to student inquiries on social media platforms . Work closely with the marketing and content teams to develop admission-related communication materials. Collaboration & Reporting Maintain a comprehensive database of student interactions and track admissions conversions. Provide regular reports and insights to the admissions leadership team on student engagement and enrollment trends. Requirements: Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field . 1-3 years of experience in admissions, student services, sales, or customer engagement . Experience in business school admissions or higher education counseling is a plus. Skills & Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and internal teams. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to engage and counsel prospective students. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment . Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms for student outreach. A proactive and customer-centric approach with a passion for education and student success.
