Admission Counsellor

Job Summary:

The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the entire admission process—from inquiry to enrollment. The role involves counseling students and parents, responding to queries, following up with leads, and ensuring a smooth admission experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel students and parents regarding course offerings, career opportunities, and college benefits.

Handle walk-in and telephonic inquiries and convert them into admissions.

Follow up with potential leads via phone, email, and WhatsApp.

Maintain accurate records of inquiries, leads, and conversions in CRM or Excel.

Coordinate with academic departments for course updates, fees, and schedules.

Assist in organizing admission drives, open houses, webinars, and seminars.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.

Support the admissions team during peak admission seasons.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English, Hindi, and/or Marathi)

Confident, persuasive, and approachable personality

Good computer skills (Excel, Word, email drafting, CRM is a plus)

Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet targets

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (any stream); MBA or PG Diploma in Education/Marketing is a plus

1–3 years of experience in admissions or counseling (preferably in the education sector)

Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
