Job Title: Admission Counsellor CBSE School Location: Sector 49, Gurgaon Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students and parents through the admissions process, ensuring clear communication and a smooth enrollment experience. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a deep understanding of the CBSE curriculum, and the ability to present the school’s values and offerings effectively. Key Responsibilities: Handle inquiries via phone, email, walk-ins, and online platforms. Provide detailed information about the school, curriculum (CBSE), academic and extracurricular activities. Schedule and conduct school tours for prospective parents and students. Guide parents through the admission process – from application to enrollment. Maintain up-to-date records of student applications and admission data. Coordinate entrance tests, interviews, and orientation sessions. Follow up with leads and ensure timely communication. Collaborate with the marketing team for outreach activities (fairs, open houses, digital campaigns). Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree (Education, Psychology, Marketing, or related field preferred). Prior experience in school admissions or educational counselling is preferred. Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and school education system. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management software. Friendly, patient, and approachable demeanor. Fluency in English and local language(s) as required.
