Admission Counsellor

We are seeking a dedicated College Admissions Counselor to assist students in their pursuit of higher education.

The College Admissions Counselors responsibilities include developing admission strategies, preparing students for interviews, and collaborating with high school guidance counselors.

Ultimately, the College Admissions Counselor will guide students through the application process, ensuring they have all the information necessary to make informed decisions about their future education.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through the entire application process, from initial exploration and application to final enrollment
• Develop and implement admission strategies to attract a diverse pool of applicants
• Prepare students for interviews and campus visits
• Collaborate with high school guidance counselors to provide comprehensive support to students
• Review student applications to evaluate their eligibility for admission
• Organize and conduct informational sessions and workshops for students and parents
• Assist in scholarship and financial aid processes
• Stay up-to-date on college admissions procedures and requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a College Admissions Counselor or similar role
• Knowledge of college admissions procedures and requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelors degree in Counseling, Education, or relevant field
