Job Description

You will be responsible for delivering basic technical, administrative, or operative General Administration tasks. Your duties will include maintaining files and records, obtaining/verifying routine information from various sources, retrieving, receiving, reading, sorting files, and delivering documents. Additionally, you will maintain daily logs, make photocopies, and may use elementary keyboard skills for data input. It is important to understand and follow simple instructions and procedures while performing General Clerk duties under direct instruction and close supervision. Your work will be allocated on a day-to-day or task-by-task basis. Your main responsibility will be organizing and processing the flow of incoming and outgoing documents (both paper and electronic) in a back-office environment. You will ensure consistency in the timely delivery of quality and quantity to meet set parameters and measures in order to meet Service Level Agreements. Key Responsibilities: - Receiving and documenting claims, both electronic and paper claims - Managing file management and classification of data, as well as supporting reporting compilation - Electronically transferring received claims to various platforms - Managing the flow between members and provider claims - Processing member and provider claims within stipulated Turn Around Times - Managing the different channels through which claims are received - Cross-referencing emails received from members and providers for further processing - Performing any other tasks as allocated Key Requirements: - Active language knowledge of at least English (additional languages are a plus) - Ability to plan and organize tasks independently - Excellent time management skills with the ability to continuously prioritize tasks accordingly - Upholding utmost discretion when handling confidential information - Ability to handle large quantities of paper and electronic documents - Working to deliver consistently even under pressure - Self-driven and capable of working with little or no supervision - Ability to work collaboratively within a team - Proficient in the use of Spreadsheets, word-processing, associated office IT Skills, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) with accurate data inputting - Accountability - assuming ownership for achieving personal results - Customer-focused while executing mundane tasks - Copes well in a changing environment About The Cigna Group: Cigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, is an advocate for better health through every stage of life.
