Job Description

As an Actuarial Analyst (life) at Aon, you will be an integral part of the PathWise transformation team, responsible for leading and supporting actuarial model conversion projects for Indian and global clients. Your focus will be on developing high-efficiency and scalable modeling solutions using the PathWise platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior actuaries, and contribute to client delivery, onboarding, and solution design. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting in converting life insurance models onto the PathWise platform, supporting testing, validation, and debugging of actuarial models, developing scripts in Python to enhance model functionality and automation, and maintaining model documentation. You will also be expected to have a good understanding of life insurance product features and actuarial concepts, as well as knowledge of actuarial modeling software. Exposure to Python and progress on actuarial exams (IFoA, SOA, or IAI) will be advantageous. The ideal candidate for this role will have 1-3 years of experience in the life actuarial domain, with a keen interest in learning and contributing to a fast-paced transformation team. Familiarity with frameworks like US GAAP LDTI, VM21, or IFRS 17, as well as exposure to SQL, Power Query, or automation tools, will be beneficial.
