Accounts & Tax Assistant

Our firm is looking for an accounts/Tax assistant to manage the tax requirements of various clients (individuals/firms/LLPs/ Companies). The candidate should possess good knowledge of the income-tax/GST acts. They should have working knowledge of conducting Tax Audits under the Income Tax act for various types of Clients. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail. Applicants with experience and familiarity in a similar role are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of Final Accounts & also the computation of income
• Preparation of GST returns
• Auditing skills with regard to Statutory Audits & Tax Audits under the income tax act
• Update and maintain accounts database
• Track and resolve accounting problems and discrepancies as needed
• Process bills for payment
• Process vendor invoices

Qualification & Skills:

• 3+ years’ experience in similar roles in other organizations
• B.Com / Candidates who have completed Articleship for the Chartered Accountancy course preferred.
• Working knowledge of Complete income tax computation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Google Docs
• Well versed with Tally ERP & other accounting & Taxation tools
• Proficiency with Windows operating system
• Advanced written and oral communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹200,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
