Accounts Payable/Receivable Experienced Professional

The Opportunity

This position is responsible for the overall Trade Finance activities in GBS as part of Accounts Receivables ProcessThe activities include the management of FEMA activities from initiation stage up to completion time. Contacting Banks / Business Units (LBU's)/Treasury for follow-up - Enquiries, Export bill submission, GR waiver issuance etc.Expert knowledge of Exports, Softex, PEM, Inwards settlement, GR waiver and documentation of EBRC.Good knowledge in FEMA process. Will identify root causes and provide suggestions to improve the overall process to work smoothly.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders in this process viz., Banks, Treasury, FES & LBU's.
• Manage all communication for all overall FEMA process & resolve all issues.
• Timely presentation of documents
• Must communicate & follow up effectively with FES / LBU's on resolution of FEMA Discrepancies
• Coordinate with all team members in Cash Applications for on time accounting of export proceeds
• Preparation of a daily summary of activities done & pending activities & submitting the same to AR Delivery Manager
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties which are necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
• Ensure SOX / Internal Controls ComplianceResponsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Qualification of Graduate with MBA / CA / ICWA Inter or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• 6-8 years experience in a similar field.
• Must have 2-3 years of experience in bank domain.
• Accounts receivables knowledge / experience.
• Strong attention to details & should be goal oriented.
• Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and efficiently with co-workers as well as various stakeholders & to remain calm under stress.
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite / knowledge of SAP.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
