Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description: As a Finance Assistant with at least 1 year of experience, you will be responsible for handling various financial tasks within the Finance department. Your primary focus will be on utilizing Zoho Books software to manage vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and support month-end closing activities. Key Responsibilities: - Processing vendor invoices accurately with all necessary documentation - Matching invoices with purchase orders (POs) and delivery receipts for verification - Reconciling vendor statements and addressing any discrepancies that may arise - Maintaining meticulous records and generating reports such as vendor ageing analysis - Collaborating with vendors to ensure timely follow-ups and documentation submission - Assisting in month-end closing procedures and supporting audit activities as required Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or MBA with a specialization in Finance or Accounting - Proficiency in utilizing Zoho Books software and MS Excel for financial data management - Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and team members Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience working in a service-based or Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) environment would be advantageous In this role, your ability to efficiently handle financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively will be crucial to the success of the Finance department.
