Accounts Payable Reconciliation Specialist

You will be responsible for performing thorough supplier and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records. Collaborating with internal teams to address reconciliation-related issues will also be a key part of your role. It will be your responsibility to monitor and verify the accuracy of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will need to prepare detailed reconciliation reports for management review and identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing innovative solutions to optimize reconciliation workflows. Utilizing advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas will be crucial to streamline reconciliation and reporting processes. Timely completion of reconciliation tasks within deadlines is a must. Your proficiency in advanced Excel formulas and functions will be essential for this role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail are required. You should be able to think creatively and propose new action plans to enhance existing processes. Excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers. You should be able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of ERP systems like Tally, SAP, and financial software is a plus. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Preferred skills for this position include experience in process automation and optimization, as well as strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
