Accounts Payable & Receivable Team Leader

Role Overview: You will be part of a global team at AECOM, a trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering projects that create a positive impact worldwide. As a valued member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance with relevant SOX narratives and controls. Key Responsibilities: - Manage AR/AP and Other Asset category, Technical Accounting, and Financial Reporting duties - Supervise the monthly reconciliation process to guarantee accuracy in financial statements - Oversee reconciliation of employee advances and liaise with S2P for discrepancy resolution - Manage reconciliation of Employee expense/P-card accounts and resolve discrepancies with S2P - Handle Auditing and Compliance Monitoring tasks - Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements - Ensure adherence to AP, AR, and other asset-related category SOX narratives and control documentation - Drive Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement changes to enhance efficiencies and promote a culture of continuous improvement - Partner with S2P and O2C to enhance operational efficiencies and process improvement Qualifications: The following qualifications and experience are highly desired for this role: - CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification - Minimum 5 years of General Accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a global organization - Strong technical accounting knowledge focusing on US GAAP - Experience in SOX and operational compliance in shared services - Excellent communication (English language) and stakeholder management skills - Demonstrated success in cross-cultural, virtual team environments Company Details: AECOM is a global infrastructure leader committed to delivering a better world.
