You will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger and ensuring the accurate recording of all financial transactions. Additionally, you will be expected to perform month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare and submit tax returns and other statutory filings. Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information is also a key aspect of the role. Collaboration with other departments to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information is essential. Effective communication with team members and management is crucial. You will assist in identifying and resolving reconciling items by understanding their root cause and liaising with other finance functions for timely resolution. Driving process improvements and standardization activities will be part of your responsibilities. Managing export documentation, including the preparation of commercial invoices, packing lists, and other relevant documents, is required. Coordinating with clients to gather necessary information for document preparation is also expected. Maintaining accurate export records using Tally ERP software is another key responsibility.
