Accounts Executive - Reconciliation Specialist - Mumbai, Andheri

Account Reconciliation: Perform timely and accurate reconciliations of bank, payment gateway, and

other financial accounts to ensure records are consistent and error-free.

Data Analysis: Leverage advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to analyze

financial data, identify discrepancies, and assist with reporting.

Tally Expertise: Maintain and update financial records in Tally ERP, ensuring all transactions are recorded

and reconciled appropriately. Transaction Review: Regularly review and investigate discrepancies, providing clear explanations and

solutions for any variances in accounts.

Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation reports for management review.

Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and

Operations, to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Audit Support: Assist in audit preparation by providing necessary reconciled financial data and

supporting documentation.

Process Improvement: Suggest improvements for enhancing reconciliation processes and increasing

efficiency through automation or new tools.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in Excel with strong knowledge of formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH),

pivot tables, macros, and data manipulation techniques.

Experience with Tally: Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP software, particularly for transaction

recording and reconciliations.

Data Analysis: Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to

resolve issues.

Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail and precision in handling financial data.

Accounting Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles, preferably with experience in

managing reconciliations and financial reporting.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in accounts efficiently.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal teams and

external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Previous experience in a reconciliation role in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of other accounting software is a plus.
