Job Description

1. Accounting Skills

Basic accounting principles (Debit & Credit, Golden Rules)
Journal entries, Ledger posting, Trial Balance
Final accounts (Trading, Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet)
Bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
Accounts payable & receivable management

2. Taxation Skills

Direct Tax (Income Tax):

Basic knowledge of Income Tax Act
Computation of taxable income
TDS calculation and returns (Form 24Q, 26Q)
Filing Income Tax Returns (ITR 1, ITR 3, ITR 4)

Indirect Tax (GST):

Understanding GST concepts (CGST, SGST, IGST)
GST registration process
GST compliance rules and due dates

3. GST Return Filing Skills

Preparing and filing GST returns:

GSTR-1 (Sales)
GSTR-3B (Monthly summary)
GSTR-2B & GSTR-2A reconciliation

Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation
Handling GST notices and amendments
Knowledge of e-invoicing & e-way bill basics

4. Tally Prime Skills

GST return generation from Tally
Inventory management.

5. Compliance & Practical Skills

Accuracy and attention to detail
Understanding statutory deadlines
Record-keeping and documentation
Coordination with CA / Tax Consultant
Basic knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)
