Accounts Executive

Role Overview: You will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks including invoicing, invoice processing, reconciliation, customer relations, tax compliance, and audit coordination. Your role will be crucial in ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with tax regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Create and issue invoices to customers based on sales orders or billing information. - Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers. - Reconcile customer and vendor accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve disputes or errors. - Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors, address inquiries, and resolve accounts receivable issues. - Ensure compliance with Indian tax laws and regulations, including income tax, GST, TDS, and other taxes. Manage timely filing of taxes. - Coordinate with auditors during the audit process, provide necessary documentation, and respond to queries. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. - 5-8 years of experience in accounting or finance. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Good written and spoken communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of Indian tax regulations and compliance requirements. Additional Details: The company requires you to have experience in Media and Advertising agency. Proficiency in Zoho Books is also a mandatory requirement. Fluent in English and Hindi is preferred. This is a full-time position located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, requiring in-person work.
