Job description
Job Title: Accounts Executive
Department: Accounts & Administration
Reporting To: Head Finance & Administration / Managing Director
Position Overview:
The Accounts & Admin Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations and administrative functions to ensure smooth office functioning. The role includes maintaining financial records, handling payments, vendor coordination, and supporting HR and facility-related activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, good administrative skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Responsibilities:
· Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including vouchers, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
· Maintain and reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and ledgers.
· Prepare and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims.
· Support in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management summaries.
· Coordinate with internal and external auditors for documentation and verification.
· Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
· Assist in maintaining and updating accounting records in Tally / ERP software.
· Track and manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
· Monitor outstanding payments and follow up for collections when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelors degree in Commerce / Business Administration / Accounting or a related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in accounts and administration, preferably in a real estate or construction company.
· Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and MS Office Suite.
· Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
· High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
