Location

Role & Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting activities such as bookkeeping, journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations using accounting software like Tally or Zoho Books
Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor and bank reconciliations
Assist in the preparation and timely filing of GST, TDS, PF and other statutory compliances
Support monthly and annual financial closing, audit processes, and preparation of management reports
Maintain accurate and organized financial records as per company policies and statutory regulations
Coordinate with auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and information
Exposure to Payroll accounting compliance is preferred
Prior experience or exposure to the IT industry is a strong advantage, facilitating understanding of IT-specific accounting requirements and compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
2 to 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably within corporate, IT services, or technology-driven environments
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, PF compliance, and statutory requirements
Proficiency with accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail, analytical capabilities, and ability to meet deadlines
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external auditors
