Accounts Executive - Accounts Receivable

Role Overview: You will be responsible for generating and issuing customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, you will prepare Credit Notes/Debit Notes as needed. Collaborating with Sales and Customer Service teams to promptly resolve client billing issues will be a key part of your role. Keeping track of invoice-wise outstanding balances, performing 26AS reconciliation, and reconciling customer ledgers with company books are crucial tasks. You will also assist in month-end closing activities and support financial reporting related to receivables. Maintaining accurate customer records in the system will be another important aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner - Prepare Credit Notes/Debit Notes when required - Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve client billing issues promptly - Record banking entries related to sales collections in the accounting system - Track invoice-wise outstanding balances and follow up with Key Account Managers (KAMs) - Perform 26AS reconciliation with the customer's ledger - Reconcile customer ledgers with company books and notify customers of any discrepancies - Assist with month-end closing activities and support in financial reporting related to receivables - Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the system Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Proven experience in accounts receivable or billing - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description),
