Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day financial transactions, data entry, and general accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring proper documentation.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Assist with payroll processing and tax submissions as required.
Maintain digital and physical financial records.
Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payments.
Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks.

Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1+ year of experience in an accounting or finance role preferred (fresh graduates welcome depending on the employer).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software .
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹29,846.63 per month
