Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

Record and maintain daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, etc.).
Assist in preparing and maintaining ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents for accuracy.
Assist in preparing GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns (if applicable).Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Maintain proper filing of financial documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes.Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for accounting-related queries.Assist senior accountants in audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Required Skills

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books, ERP systems).
Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
Basic understanding of accounting principles (journal entries, ledgers, trial balance).
Experience with invoicing, billing, and expense management.
Knowledge of bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
Familiarity with statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax if applicable).
