Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry and Bookkeeping:
  • Accurately record financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of all financial transactions.
  • Accounts Payable:
  • Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and address discrepancies.
  • Prepare and execute timely payments to suppliers.
  • Accounts Receivable:
  • Prompt issuance of customer invoices and statements.
  • Conduct follow-ups on outstanding payments and reconcile customer accounts.
  • Ensure accurate recording of incoming payments and update customer records as necessary.
  • Bank Reconciliation:
  • Regularly reconcile bank statements with the general ledger.
  • Investigate and rectify any discrepancies or issues identified.
  • Expense Management:
  • Process and verify employee expense reports, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of company expenses and manage timely employee reimbursements.
  • GST Filing and Compliance:
  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with GST regulations and liaise with tax authorities as required.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax regulations and advise on the implications for company operations.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Support the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in financial audits and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to management.
  • General Administrative Support:
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed to assist the finance team and overall business operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, with specific experience in GST filing and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and GST filing platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

Preferred:

  • Experience with specific accounting software such as QuickBooks or Tally.
  • Certification or advanced coursework in accounting (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with broader tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,742.13 - ₹12,000.00 per month
