Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chartered Accountant to lead the Accounts function at our Jhagadia unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, statutory compliance, audits, and reporting, while ensuring alignment with corporate policies and regulatory standards.

Role & responsibilities

Lead and manage the accounts team for day-to-day operations
Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and preparation of financial statements
Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, and tax filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax)
Maintain compliance with all applicable financial regulations and company policies
Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities
Drive process improvements and cost control initiatives
Support budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting

Preferred candidate profile

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of post-qualification experience
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Prior experience with fertilizer, chemical, or process manufacturing industries is highly desirable
