Accounting Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate in Accounting at Spaulding Ridge, your role involves maintaining and updating financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledger entries. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the fixed asset register to ensure accurate asset tracking and depreciation accounting. Conducting regular bank reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will prepare and submit documentation for both internal and external audits. Providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making will also be a crucial aspect of your role. Collaborating with overseas teams for invoice booking and month-end closing activities is essential for smooth financial operations. Ensuring timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in compliance with Indian tax laws is also part of your responsibilities. Effective communication across teams and cultures is vital to ensure seamless financial operations. Preferred Candidate Profile: - Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in accounting, Inter CA, or MBA Finance - Experience: 6-8 years in accounting or a similar role - Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP, Netsuite, or equivalent - Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations - Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and generate insights - Attention to Detail: High accuracy in maintaining financial records and reporting - Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for internal and external coordination - Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently - Professional Ethics: Commitment to confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information Spaulding Ridge is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued and respected.
