Accounting Senior Associate

Role Overview: You will be a Senior Associate, Accounting at Spaulding Ridge, an advisory and IT implementation firm based in Pune. As part of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, providing insights for strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and update financial records such as ledgers, journals, and general ledger entries. - Manage the fixed asset register to track assets accurately and handle depreciation accounting. - Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies. - Prepare documentation for both internal and external audits. - Offer financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. - Collaborate with overseas teams for invoice booking and month-end closing activities. - Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in accordance with Indian tax laws. - Communicate effectively across teams and cultures to facilitate smooth financial operations. Qualifications Required: - Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in accounting, Inter CA, or MBA Finance. - Experience: 6-8 years in accounting or a similar role. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP, Netsuite, or equivalent. - Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations. - Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and derive meaningful insights. - Attention to Detail: High accuracy in maintaining financial records and reporting. - Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external coordination. - Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently. - Professional Ethics: Commitment to confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
