Accounting, QA - Fixed Assets, Capital Leases

You are a qualified ACA or CFA / ICWAI professional with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience and are interested in transitioning to the Software Quality / Business domain side. You should have a strong understanding of Fixed Assets and Capital Leases. It is preferred that you are based in Bangalore. As an Accounting QA professional, you will be responsible for working as a Software Quality Engineer to test asset management products. A professional degree in accounting/finance or a related field is a must. You should have 2-6 years of experience in audit/assurance services or assets accounting, with hands-on experience in Asset Accounting and oversight of the entire Fixed Asset Accounting and Operational workflow. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly journal entries related to fixed assets and capital leases, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures, as well as preparing monthly balance sheet and sub-ledger reconciliations. Consulting experience in SAP FI, particularly in Asset, is an added advantage. Knowledge of SQL or VBA for data analysis skills is a plus. Additionally, you will be required to provide domain/functional advice and assistance to QA and Development teams, reducing dependency on in-house Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Business Analysts. Soft skills such as good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, and a learning attitude are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Banking/Financial industry with key skills in ACA, Fixed Assets, Capital Leases, Auditing, Operational Workflow, and SAP FI.
