Accounting, QA - Fixed Assets, Capital Leases

As an ACA or CFA / ICWAI qualified candidate with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience, you have the opportunity to transition to the Software Quality / Business domain side. It is essential that you are proficient in Fixed Assets and Capital Leases. If you are based in Bangalore, you are preferred for this role. **Role Overview:** You will work as a Software Quality Engineer testing asset management products. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and functionality of these products. **Key Responsibilities:** - Hands-on experience with Asset Accounting and oversight of the entire Fixed Asset Accounting and Operational workflow. - Preparation of monthly journal entries related to fixed assets and capital leases, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. - Preparation of monthly balance sheet and sub-ledger reconciliations. - Provide domain/functional advice and assistance to QA and Dev teams. - Reduce the reliance on in-house Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Business Analysts. **Qualifications Required:** - Professional Degree in accounting/finance or a related field is a must. - 2-6 years of experience in audit/assurance services/assets accounting. - Consulting experience in SAP FI, especially on Asset, is an added advantage. - Knowledge of SQL or VBA (data analysis skills) is a plus. - Soft Skills: Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem-solving skills, and a learning attitude.
