Experience:

2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally with Canadian accounting firms or in public practice. Inter CAs or candidates who have completed articleship are preferred.

System Requirements:

Candidates must use their own desktop or laptop; the company will not provide hardware.

Only remote candidates based in India are eligible.

Preference will be given to candidates with Canadian accounting experience and CA Intermediate qualification.

Position Overview:

Accounting Bridge, a British Columbia-based accounting firm, is looking for a skilled Accountant to join its remote team. The role involves working with Canadian clients and gaining strong exposure to Canadian accounting, financial reporting, and tax practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounting and financial statements using

  Caseware

• Prepare Canadian corporate tax returns in

  Profile

  and ensure compliance with GST/HST/PST, corporate tax, and payroll taxation
• Perform bookkeeping and bank/credit card reconciliations
• Manage payroll processing and client onboarding
• Maintain accurate records and perform data entry
• Communicate professionally with clients via email and phone in fluent English

Tools & Software Proficiency:

• Caseware (mandatory)
• Profile (mandatory)
• QuickBooks Online (added advantage)
• Xero or other accounting tools (advantage)
• Microsoft Excel (mandatory)

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent)
• CA Inter candidates or those who have completed articleship

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple client accounts and deadlines
• Excellent written and spoken English communication
• Comfortable understanding Canadian and U.S. accents
• Self-disciplined and able to work independently
