Accounting Advisory

Role Overview: You will be part of the Assurance Services team, specifically the Capital Market and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) division. Your primary responsibility will be to provide GAAP conversion services, accounting advisory support, and issue papers on accounting matters. Additionally, you will collaborate with due diligence teams for cross-border transactions and contribute to publications on IFRS, Indian GAAP, and Ind AS. Key Responsibilities: - Provide GAAP conversion services to clients - Offer accounting advisory support (IFRS/Indian GAAP/Ind AS) - Write memos and issue papers on accounting issues - Assist due diligence teams in assessing IFRS/Indian GAAP impact on cross-border transactions - Contribute to publications on IFRS, Indian GAAP, and Ind AS Qualifications Required: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting - Good working knowledge of Ind AS/IFRS implementation - Additional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or post-graduation in accounting are advantageous Additional Details: The Firm's Assurance Services focus on providing assurance on financial performance and operations, improving external financial reporting, and assisting in adapting to new regulatory requirements. The Assurance group also helps organizations report externally on non-financial information, strengthen corporate governance procedures, and achieve social and economic goals related to corporate sustainability. Financial audits play a crucial role in providing an independent opinion on a company's financial report, contributing to the capital markets system.
