Job Description

As an Accountant at our company located in Kottakkal, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations, and providing support to the finance team in their day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and take a proactive approach to financial management. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining financial records and reports, handling general ledger functions and journal entries, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Additionally, you will assist with audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance, support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with at least 1 year of proven experience in an accounting or finance role. You should also have a strong knowledge of accounting software, proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as good communication and problem-solving abilities. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule that requires in-person work at our location.
