Job Description

Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable; monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support business planning.
Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with tax laws and deadlines (e.g., VAT, income tax, payroll tax).
Assist in internal and external audits; implement and maintain internal controls.
Process payroll and ensure accurate salary payments, deductions, and reporting.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Use accounting software to record, analyze, and report financial data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and improve processes.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-3 years experience in a similar accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Xero).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
