Accountant, Senior India

As a Senior Accountant at Black Duck Software, Inc., your role is crucial in supporting accounting operations and financial reporting for the global operations. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings for all entities. Your key responsibilities include: - Creating intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations to ensure accurate consolidated financial reporting. - Supporting audits (internal and external) by providing documentation and ensuring audit readiness globally. - Completing and ensuring balance sheet reconciliations have been completed and approved across all regions. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Business from an accredited College/University. - 5+ years of experience, preferably in SAAS/software industry. - Proficiency in global ERP systems, preferably Netsuite. - Quick learner with the ability to pick up accounting and finance knowledge on-the-go in a fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail to spot irregularities in invoices and financial reports. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across regions and external third parties. - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate cultural and regulatory complexities.
