Job Description

Job Title: Accountant

Experience: 1-3 Years

Location: Remote (Night Shift)

Working hours: 7:00pm to 4:30Am (IST)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with QuickBooks ,Tally and MS Excel and possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets.
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and vendor payments.
  • Manage invoicing, expense tracking, and petty cash.
  • Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Work on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in audits and coordinate with external auditors as required.
  • Generate financial reports using QuickBooks and Tally for management review.
  • Manage payroll processing including employee records, deductions, benefits, and statutory compliance.
  • Assist in US tax compliance including bookkeeping for clients, reconciliations, and preparation for IRS filings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance B. Com / M. Com / MBA (Finance), CA, CA Intermediate Qualified / CA (Semi-Qualified) / CPA / CS (Executive Qualified), CS (semi- qualified) / CMA or equivalent finance qualification.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in

    QuickBooks

    and

    Tally ERP

    (mandatory).
  • Hands-on ADP Experience Preferred
  • IFRS, US GAAP, US Tax laws Knowledge Preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other financial tools.
  • Strong English communication skills and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with US or international clients is a plus.
  • Knowledge of payroll accounting and financial compliance standards
