Accountant

You will be joining our finance team as an Accountant in Mumbai. Your role will involve maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and performing general accounting duties. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws. - Reconcile general ledger accounts. - Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. - Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. - Conduct internal audits and assist in external audits. - Properly document and file financial transactions. - Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement. - Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and tax laws. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance (Bcom/BAF or Post Graduate). - Previous experience working with a CA Firm as an Accountant. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: - Minimum 4-5 years of experience as an Accountant in a CA Firm. - Proficiency with Tally ERP systems, GST, TDS Filing & Income Tax. - Knowledge of tax regulations and corporate finance. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
