Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at The Retreat by MintHomes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including financial reporting, compliance, tax filing, and budget management. This role requires strong expertise in Tally, GST, and TDS procedures, along with a proactive approach to maintaining financial accuracy and supporting business decisions through insightful analysis.

Responsibilities:

1) Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

2) Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

3) Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.

4) Perform month-end close processes.

5) Handle and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

6) Manage and file GST returns accurately and in a timely manner.

7) Prepare and file TDS returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

8) Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

9) Stay updated on accounting software and best practices.

10) Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.

Requirements:

1) Bachelor's degree/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2) Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles.

3) Strong knowledge of Tally software, GST filing, and TDS procedures.

4) Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.

5) Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
