Job Description – Store Accountant (Male)

Position: Store Accountant (Male)

Experience Required: 1-2 years (with expertise in Tally)

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain and update store accounts, inventory records, and stock ledgers in Tally ERP.

· Handle inward and outward stock entries, ensuring accuracy of material receipts and issues.

· Monitor daily stock movement and prepare stock reconciliation statements.

· Coordinate with the purchase and store departments for proper material documentation.

· Generate GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), Issue Slips, and Stock Registers.

· Prepare and verify invoices, bills, and vouchers.

· Ensure timely accounting of purchases, sales, and returns.

· Conduct monthly/quarterly stock audits and highlight discrepancies.

· Assist management with MIS reports related to inventory and accounts.

· Maintain proper filing of store-related financial records and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

· Graduate in Commerce / Accounting or equivalent.

· Hands-on experience in Tally ERP (mandatory).

· Knowledge of MS Excel & MS Office.

· Strong knowledge of inventory management and accounting principles.

· Attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and good organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and coordinate with the store & purchase teams.
