Job Title: Account Executive – Statutory Compliance

Job Summary:

A reputed logistics company in Chennai is looking for a detail-oriented Account Executive – Statutory Compliance with 3–5 years of relevant experience. The role involves managing all statutory obligations including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and coordinating statutory audits. The ideal candidate must ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

File GST returns, TDS returns, and handle PF/ESI statutory payments

Coordinate and support internal and external audits

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all statutory filings

Ensure compliance with Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other regulatory norms

Manage monthly reconciliations related to statutory liabilities

Keep track of regulatory changes and implement timely updates

Liaise with statutory consultants and government departments

Assist with ROC filings and board documentation, if applicable

Candidate Requirements:

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter

Experience: 3–5 years in statutory compliance/accounting, preferably in the logistics industry

Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software

Good knowledge of Indian tax laws, audit processes, and statutory deadlines

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
