Accountant

Role Overview: As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing budget forecasts and financial statements, reconciling bank statements, computing taxes, and participating in financial standards setting. You will also provide financial insights and recommendations to management, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements. - Publish financial statements in a timely manner. - Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. - Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations. - Audit financial transactions and documents for accuracy. - Maintain financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups. - Manage accurate and organized records of financial transactions. - Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements. - Participate in financial standards setting and forecasting. - Provide support during external and internal audits. - Provide financial insights and recommendations to management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 1 or 2 years of proven experience as an Accountant. - Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP. - Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle. - Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
