Accountant- Direct Tax

As a Direct Tax Associate - First-Time Tax Implementation at our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing direct tax planning strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and compliant tax processes during the initial tax planning and implementation phase. You will collaborate with the tax and finance teams to align tax strategies with the organization's objectives and comply with relevant laws. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial data for tax analysis, preparing documentation and reports, and verifying data accuracy to support tax planning efforts. Additionally, you will assist in preparing and filing direct tax returns, staying updated on changes in tax laws, and addressing compliance issues with senior tax professionals. In this position, you will also be responsible for providing training and guidance to internal stakeholders on new tax processes, addressing queries related to tax implementation, and maintaining organized records for audit purposes. Furthermore, you will conduct transfer pricing analyses, prepare transfer pricing policies, and collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with regulations. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with relevant certifications or pursuing professional qualifications being advantageous. Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax concepts, excellent analytical and organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential for success in this position.
