Accountant - Compliance

Key Responsibilities:1. Statutory Compliance

• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, and Income Tax.
• Prepare and maintain compliance calendars to track due dates and avoid penalties.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of ROC filings and other corporate compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants and government authorities for any compliance-related queries or audits.

2. Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate reporting for statutory purposes.
• Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation.

3. Taxation

• Assist in preparation of tax computations and returns (Direct and Indirect Taxes).
• Maintain records for tax audits and respond to notices or assessments.
• Keep updated with changes in tax laws and compliance requirements.

4. Internal Controls & Documentation

• Maintain proper documentation for all compliance filings.
• Support internal control processes and risk management in financial operations.
• Ensure accounting practices align with company policies and statutory norms.

5. Coordination

• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government departments for compliance matters.
• Work closely with HR, Legal, and other teams for cross-functional compliance areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
