Accountant & Auditor

You will be responsible for conducting physical site visits to measure and verify the work completed, cross-referencing it with Joint Measurement Sheet and specifications. This critical step ensures quantities are reconciled and quality standards are met. - Creating detailed reports of audit findings and providing recommendations for improvements to financial controls and processes. - Comparing internal records with bank statements and vendor ledgers to identify and resolve inconsistencies. - Assisting management in financial planning and control by developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts. You will also measure and verify the work completed on-site, ensuring alignment with billed amounts. This includes reviewing Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and comparing them to actual physical progress. Additionally, you will assess material, labor, and equipment costs to ensure alignment with project budgets and contract terms. At the project's conclusion, you will prepare the final account to reconcile all project costs for transparent financial closure. Detailed reports documenting audit findings, such as over-billings, billing errors, and potential cost-saving areas, will be compiled and presented to management and stakeholders. Furthermore, you will offer value-engineering ideas and advice on cost-effective construction methods to the project management team.
