About This Role

Accountant

You will handle day-to-day accounting, reconcile data, manage invoices, track expenses, and assist with monthly and yearly financial processes. Your work will ensure smooth financial functioning as our company scales.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

• Maintain accurate books of accounts under standard accounting principles
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Prepare invoices, track payments, and follow up with clients when required
• Process employee reimbursements, vendor payments, and monthly expenses
• Reconcile bank statements and company financial records
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Coordinate with CA/auditors for filings, audits, and financial reviews
• Maintain documentation, contracts, and financial records in an organized manner
• Support management with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial projections
• Ensure timely completion of all accounting tasks and compliance related activities

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
• 1-3 years of full-time accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and reconciliation
• Proficiency with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong understanding of basic financial statements and balance sheets
• Experience handling vendor and client accounts
• Ability to maintain error free records and documentation
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for reports and analysis
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• High sense of ownership, confidentiality, and integrity

Bonus Points:

• Experience in startup or creative/tech environments
• Knowledge of payroll processes
• Familiarity with financial forecasting or budgeting tools
• Exposure to MIS reporting
