Job Description Accountant Location: Pune, Maharashtra Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in financial accounting, taxation, inventory management, and export documentation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting business operations. Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Office is essential. Key Responsibilities: Maintain financial records and classify transactions in the general ledger . Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable . Prepare and file GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns while ensuring compliance. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and financial reporting. Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation. Coordinate export shipments , including documentation, logistics, and customs clearance. Manage inventory records , conduct stock audits, and resolve discrepancies. Handle vendor registrations, supplier coordination, and bank guarantees . Prepare cost and sales reports, assisting with financial analysis . Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards . Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, and audit procedures . Experience in financial reporting and bank reconciliations . Familiarity with export documentation, vendor management, and inventory control . Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills . Preferred Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, or financial management . Prior experience in export coordination and inventory management .
