Job Title: Pressure Vessels and Thermal Fabrication Engineer Location: Pune Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Pressure Vessels and Thermal Fabrication Engineer with expertise in 3D CAD modeling, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing pressure vessels and thermal fabrication components using industry-standard software. The role includes an opportunity to undergo specialized training in the United States to enhance technical skills and gain hands-on experience. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop pressure vessels and thermal fabrication components using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Perform structural, thermal, and fluid dynamic analysis using FEA tools like ANSYS or Abaqus. Conduct Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations using Fluent or CFX to optimize heat transfer and fluid flow. Ensure compliance with ASME BPVC, API, and other relevant industry standards in design and fabrication. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and R&D to ensure design feasibility and optimization. Generate detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOMs) for production. Troubleshoot and improve existing designs based on performance data and field feedback. Prepare reports, technical documentation, and presentations for stakeholders. Participate in a structured training program in the United States to develop advanced technical expertise in pressure vessel design and thermal fabrication. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Hands-on experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools like ANSYS, Abaqus, or equivalent. Proficiency in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software such as Fluent or CFX. Knowledge of ASME BPVC, API 650/620, and other relevant industry codes. Experience with material selection, welding techniques, and fabrication processes for pressure vessels and thermal systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to travel to the United States for training and professional development. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in designing pressure vessels and thermal fabrication components. Familiarity with additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping techniques. Experience in failure analysis and troubleshooting of pressure vessel designs. Knowledge of heat exchanger and cryogenic systems design. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
