Job Title: Accountant – NBFC Accounts & Compliance Location: Jalandhar, Punjab Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: Either fresher or experienced Role Overview: We are hiring a Accountant to independently manage all accounting and compliance functions of our NBFC. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good technical skills in accounting and taxation, good English communication, and the ability to interpret and implement RBI directives and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day company accounts, journals, and ledgers Prepare financial statements in line with NBFC regulatory norms Ensure timely and accurate submission of RBI returns, ROC filings, TDS, GST, Advance Tax, and Income Tax Coordinate with internal auditors for smooth audits Prepare and submit reports to CIBIL and other credit bureaus Interpret and act upon complex RBI circulars, guidelines, and compliance letters Maintain organized, error-free records for all statutory and regulatory documentation Ensure deadlines are met with minimal supervision and a high degree of accuracy Requirements: B.Com / M.Com 2+ years of accounting and compliance experience, preferably in an NBFC or financial services firm Strong proficiency in Excel and Computers. Excellent command of written English High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to meet deadlines independently
